If you are struggling, I wrote this for you.

Dear Friend,

Maybe we have met before and maybe we haven’t. Either way, I want you to know that it gets better.

I’m not sure what your circumstances are, but there’s a few things that I do know. Everything leading up to this moment that you are facing is like calluses on the hands of someone who has been consistent in the gym. You have that same strength and determination protecting your heart right now.

Your life is a history book. A record of moments when you didn’t think you would make it through, but you did. Moments when you didn’t believe the pain would fade, or that the situation would shift… yet here you are. And I want you to know, I am so proud of you for that. That’s why I’m confident this is just another page in your story.

I also want you to know that you are so unbelievably loved, whether you feel it in this moment or not. Even if you don’t, there is a verse in the Bible that I believe with every fiber in my heart. It says the Lord is close to the brokenhearted. There’s another verse that says to consider it pure joy when you face trials because they produce perseverance.

It’s okay to breathe.

It’s okay to call a friend if you need to.

It’s okay to sit with everything you’re feeling right now.

It’s okay to rest.

Think of all the films you’ve watched. The moment when the hero has fallen. They’re in the middle of adversity. It’s a pivotal scene because everyone is asking, what is he or she going to do next?

And then suddenly…

The music begins to rise.

They stand up.

And step into greatness.

What will you do next?

Your story is unfolding in real time. That’s the exciting part.

And maybe you don’t know where you stand with faith. That’s okay. But I want to share what’s changed everything for me.

I believe in Jesus Christ. And I can tell you, without a shadow of a doubt, that in every difficult season of my life, when I’ve handed everything over to Him, something shifts. When I gave Him my heart, the weight lifted in a way I can’t explain and I realized that I wasn’t alone anymore.

It begins with surrender. Then it takes letting Him in. And it continues by discovering who He really is. Things started shifting in my life when I opened up the Bible, and I firmly believe the same can be true for you. It’s eye-opening when you actually read His words, see who He was, what He said, and how deeply He loves you.

Just ask Him for help. Ask Him for guidance. Then watch what happens. Trust me.

I also want to gently challenge you.

Ask yourself, is there something I need to do differently? Is there a cycle I need to break?

It takes courage to ask that and even more strength to take action, but I promise you, it’s worth it. That is the beauty of difficult seasons, the growth that follows.

You are capable of more than you know. It is possible.

Do not ever give up.

Your story matters.

I hope your day gets better!
